Friends of Rogers Free Library
The Friends of Rogers Free Library is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation formed for the purpose of advancing and encouraging appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, and public use of the educational and cultural facilities at the Library by supporting and benefiting the Library’s activities and functions, and sponsoring and funding activities in support of and benefiting the mission of the Library. Supported by generous gifts from donors, the Friends of Rogers Free Library supplements the library budget by annually providing funding for the Library's children's programs among other efforts and initiatives. Arts In Common
Born from the idea of an arts district centered around the town common, Arts in Common believes that arts and culture will provide Bristol the imagination and energy to transform a 17th century town common into a 21st century space for creative civic life. A collaboration between local artists and arts organizations, the Town of Bristol, Roger Williams University, and community members, Arts in Common embraces and supports the shared goals to stimulate, make accessible, and sustain arts activities and organizations that promote educational, economic, and cultural growth.
